Romania
made me
Romania built me strong. It is a place where nobody tells you what is possible. You go and find out for yourself. There was no head start to inherit. What it gave me was the will.
Designer and founder of Giarité, the cruelty-free luxury accessories house she created and built alone, from a single bedroom in London to customers in 69 countries. The products, the brand, the campaigns, and the company around them.
Taste first. Then the instinct to make it work, anywhere in the world. She built before she broadcast. This is the record.
Six years of work.
Almost none of it shared.
Until now.
I’m not here to prove myself. I’m here to share what I’ve built, what it taught me, and connect with people who think bigger.
Giarité is just the start.

Born
made me
Romania built me strong. It is a place where nobody tells you what is possible. You go and find out for yourself. There was no head start to inherit. What it gave me was the will.
Raised
is part of me
Spain is part of me. It is where I learned to belong somewhere new. Its culture became mine, and it is where I learned people: how to read a room, how to hold one.
Twelve years
taught me
My biggest teacher. Twelve years, University of the Arts London, a blog, an agency, and one bedroom that became Giarité. It is where I shaped myself professionally, where I became an entrepreneur.
The thread
I kept going back to what I did as a child: drawing, creating, photography. I keep finding my way to what I do best, with some business lessons along the way.

a Georgia Bobar record
She creates worlds from nothing. Then she makes them work. There is no box for that, and she stopped looking for one.
Georgia Bobar is a designer, artist and the founder of Giarité, a conscious luxury accessories house known for its crystal bags. Born in Romania and raised in Spain, she spent twelve years in London, where she graduated from University of the Arts London with a degree in Fashion Promotion, and built the work ethic everything since has run on.
Before Giarité there was a waitressing job in a bowling restaurant, a stint as an IT technician, a fashion and photography blog, and her own creative agency. In June 2020 she combined all of it inside one bedroom: a year spent learning suppliers, websites, advertising, packaging and shipping, with a single rule: nothing she makes hurts an animal.
What followed was built alone, and it started with taste: the products, the brand identity, the campaigns she shot herself, the packaging, the whole visual world. Then came the other half, the part most creatives hand to someone else. She figured out suppliers in China, production, quality, ecommerce, advertising, email, logistics and finance one at a time, took the brand into 69 countries and onto the shelves of department stores in Paris, London, Dubai and Amsterdam, and made all of it work. No mentor, no investors, no playbook, and not scared of a single part of it. She reads commercial design and art the way she reads a sales dashboard, and Giarité became what it is because both instincts sit in one person. Designer, photographer, founder, buyer, builder: many things at once, and all of them hers. A profitable company within five months, six-figure months, pieces worn by women she had only seen in magazines, shelves inside stores she once walked through as a window shopper. Every campaign shot by her. Every design hers, most of them bestsellers, successful enough to reach celebrities and influencers without a single paid placement. All of it done her own way. Today she works between Bali and China, where she knows the market, the sourcing and the way things actually get made. First-hand, on the factory floor, not through an agent.
For six years she documented almost everything and shared almost none of it. The archive opens now: the vision, the mistakes, the cost, and what comes next.
The brand never became small. The machine underneath it did, and she found the solution, each time, herself, her own way.
Nobody warns you how a seven-figure brand actually breaks: no scandal, just small mistakes stacking while momentum hides the cracks. When they showed, she fixed them one by one.
Why this exists
The work came first. Now comes the story, for the people building their own.
Everything on this page is said from experience, not ambition. The validation happened years ago, quietly, in the numbers above. What is left is the story: the vision, the mistakes, the cost, the foundations being laid now, and the wish to tell it properly, to the kind of people who are building something real of their own. The next chapter is designed around the part she is best at: creating. Brands, products, content, visual worlds, ideas. Giarité stays the main focus; the way she builds is what changes.
Giarité has its own purpose, and it is connected to this one: it was built so that luxury never has to cost an animal anything. Every piece since day one has been cruelty-free, more than £15,000 has gone to animal welfare, and in Bali, where she lives, she helps animals wherever she finds them.
Never paid a single celebrity
Designed by Georgia Bobar
Giarité became what it is because of taste. Georgia designs the way a singer writes: it can start with a colour, a sound, a vision, a walk through a big city at night. Then she makes it practical, elegant and beautiful. She understands commercial design and art, and she understands the numbers; every design starts where those two meet. The Jules is what that looks like: one bag, worn three ways, on the wrist, on the shoulder or crossbody, elegant and practical at once. Most of her designs became bestsellers, successful enough to reach celebrities and influencers organically, and every one was designed, sourced, produced and sold without a team behind her.

About Georgia Bobar
Georgia Bobar is a designer, artist and founder, many things at once, who created Giarité, a cruelty-free luxury accessories brand launched in London in June 2020, and built it alone into an international company. She designed the products, built the brand and shot the campaigns, and was also responsible for the business itself: production in China, ecommerce, retail and growth to more than £5 million in sales with no outside investment.
Giarité is a conscious luxury accessories house best known for its crystal bags, including the Brilly, a single design with more than 17,500 owners. Every piece is made without harming animals. The brand has shipped to 69 countries and has been stocked at La Samaritaine in Paris, Harvey Nichols, Galeries Lafayette and De Bijenkorf.
Giarité has been worn by Taylor Swift, Huda Kattan, Jessica Biel, Winnie Harlow, Hailee Steinfeld, Sydney Sweeney, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora and Paris Hilton, among others, without a single paid celebrity placement.
She was born in Romania, raised in Spain and spent twelve years in London, where she graduated from University of the Arts London (UAL) in Fashion Promotion. She is currently based in Bali and travels regularly to China, where she works directly with her production partners and knows the market and sourcing landscape first-hand.
Not to prove herself, but to share what she has built and what it taught her, and to connect with people who think bigger. Giarité carries a connected purpose: everything it makes is cruelty-free, she has given more than £15,000 to animal welfare, and she personally helps animals in need in Bali, where she is based.
Her work with Giarité has been featured more than 60 times across the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including in Vogue, Elle, Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar, People, Page Six, Who What Wear and Byrdie.
